Women's Ministries

WMF
Women Ministering Fellowship's (Originally Women's Missionary Federation) purpose is to awaken and deepen interest in and love for the Kingdom of God at home and abroad, thus sharing in the Great Commission of the Christian Church.  Also, to unite all women of the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations into the deeper fellowship of consecrated service.  The activities of WMF include meetings every other month, the Daughters of Calvary Brunch, the Cradle Roll (a program for infants to three year-olds), and "Christmas Tea."

Share Day
The main activity of this special day is making quilts for facilities in our community, shut-ins, and missions.  Share Day is held monthly at the church.  Quilting knowledge or experience is not required!

Circles (Bible Study Groups)
Presently Calvary WMF has two groups:

The Kyria Bible Study meets the second Tuesday of each month at 9:30 AM at different homes each month.

The Lydia Bible Study meets the second Tuesday of each month at 2:00 PM at the church.

The groups enjoy a time of Bible Study and fellowship. The Bible Study is made available from the National AFLC WMF each year.

Serving Groups
Made up of all women of Calvary.  They serve and assist at special events, potluck dinners, and so on.

Prayer Chain
When someone requests prayer for themselves or others, the prayer chain is composed of many women in the Calvary Family.  It has an email link and a phone link.  The prayer chain is activated by calling the church office.

For more information on any of the above,
please call the church office.
